We reserved a table for 6 adults and 6 children for Saturday evening at 7:00 p.m., we were there at 6:50 p.m. and it was already starting, so that the waiter took the order rather impatiently. We wanted 5x roast pork, but this was already out, so we had to reorder briefly and that was probably taking too long for him! After all, we didn't get our food until 8:15 pm! Even the tomato soup (!!) came as one of the last dishes !!! It would have been nice to at least get the children's meals ordered a little earlier, but these came even later than the rest of the dishes, or a children's schnitzel did not come at all. Although we pointed out that a child still has nothing to eat, nothing came. On the contrary, the waiter only came back when we asked for the bill. When we then said that we no longer need the children's schnitzel (our daughter has now got the leftovers from everyone ...), the waiter just said, yes, I thought so, forgetting the hams in the kitchen .. . 😳 no excuse, nothing !!! Rarely experienced such a bad and outrageous service, and the prices are really not bad! 12.90 € for a not too big bread dumplings with a little cream mushroom to go with it ... the next time definitely to Hammerwirt again!

We have been regular customers for 20 years and come to eat regularly. The very best real Bavarian cuisine. Unchanged very good-first-class quality & taste *****. Really nice and genuine warm friendliness. "Please stay the way you are and do it just like that"! Taste ****** / Quality ****** / Service ****** The inn is unreservedly recommendable for every generation.

At Mairhofer you can still find the beautiful typical Bavarian. Cozy old restaurant good food at reasonable prices friendly service. Even a secluded garden invites you to linger in summer. Today a great chop with potato salad and side salad for 13.80 € eaten. Just delicious. See image.

I would give 7 stars if I could. Since I were a kid I enjoyed the Mairhofer. And guess what you will find good people there, excellent meals and regular prices. Concratulations for the last 50 years.
